Queen’s Flight call
. British Conservative politicians are demanding new helicopters and aircraft for the Queen and other members of the Royal Family after the forced landing last week of a helicopter carrying the Queen Mother. Air. Commander Sir Archie.Winskill who headed the Queen’s Flight for 14 years, said that for ten years he has tried to persuade Whitehall to reequip the Queen’s two Wessex helicopters and three Andover planes. The “Mail on Sunday,” newspaper said that the Tory member, Winston Churchill would campaign to have the “clapped out” aircraft replaced. — London.
