British toll
An estimated 230 British servicemen have died since Rear-Admiral John Woodward's task force sailed for the Falklands 10 weeks ago. This compares with 352 soldiers killed in Northern Ireland since 1969. and 537 servicemen who gave their lives in the four-year Kenyan campaign against the Mau Mau in the 19505. It is likely to be several days before the final price of victory is announced. The Ministry of Defence has so far named 202 servicemen killed before the decisive assault on. Port Stanley began on Saturday. - London.
