:■ A jury has awarded SNZ7.9 million in damages to the parents of a seven-year-old boy who was electrocuted atop a Commonwealth Edison ■ Company substation in the Chicago suburb of Des Plaines. Janine del Muro, aged 32, and her husband. Frank: aged 30. were awarded SNZ3.3 million in compensatory damages and. SNZ4.6 million in punitive damages in connection with the death of their son. Frank, who .was’ electrocuted in June, 1977, 1 while playing with his cousin in a park near his home. The lawsuit alleged that Edison failed to properly inspect and maim tain its equipment.
