Air NZ to close sales office
Part of Air New Zealand's new leaner look will be visible in Christchurch next week when the passenger sales office now in Colombo Street, becomes part of the Cathedral Square office on the ground floor of the Bank of New Zealand office. The Colombo Street booking office, which was formerly Air New Zealand’s pre-merger base, will close this evening.
The commercial sales and agency affairs' sections, on the upper floors, will move to the Bank of New Zealand building next month. Air New Zealand has leased the Colombo Street premises since September, 1966. Additional counter space has been installed in the Cathedral Square office.
