House fired by lightning
PA Dunedin An Arrowtown house was burnt out on Friday night after being struck by lightning in the worst electrical storm in the area for four years. Firemen from the Arrowtown and Queenstown brig-
ades were unable to save the A-frame house, which was unoccupied at the time of the fire. Apart from certain rural telephone circuits .being cut, the storm appeared to cause little other damage, the police said. .
