Barrett, the test engineer, should attend the course run in English by Landis and Gyr. the Swiss company that makes the test equipment. Cr A. J. Graham asked if e Swiss course was neces-

sary. It would cost the council about $4BOO for travel and hotel expenses, in June and July. The ■ M.E.D.'s general manager, Mr J. H. Donald, said that a high level of metering accuracy was necessary in a $6O million business. The course tuition would be free.
