O.E.C.D. award

A Wellington-based scientist in the Health Department, Miss P. Murrow, has been- awarded a traineeship for 12 months work in Paris with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development. Miss Murrow was one of 13 people from the 24 O.E.C.D. member countries to receive the award, said the Director of Public

Health, Dr Maxwell Collins. She works as a district air pollution control officer and has also worked in the United States, Britain, and Italy. Miss Murrow will be assigned to the resources, energy and environment division of the Environment directorate of the O.E.C.D. and will take up her appointment in April.
