Japanese investment
Sir.—To those of us who fought against the Japanese in their attempt to bring about a military conquest of New Zealand, it comes as a shock to read of our Government inviting Japanese industrialists to invest in our country. It would appear that with the' assistance and encouragement of the National Government the Japanese will be in a position to achieve by economic means that which they failed to do by military, means.—Yours, etc., JOHN J. FORSTER. March 15, 1982.
