Pony club trials

Ground conditions were very hard and dry. but the time penalties for the' cross-country phase heavy when the Christchurch Pony Club held the first area trials of the season at the Gray brothers’ property at Motukar’ara. recently. Twenty-one competitors entered the D.C. section for riders under 17 years and another six in the A. 1. section for riders up to 21 years. The course was 2560 m long and there were seven eliminations in the D C. class and.one in the A. 1. class. The biggest number of stops was caused by an imposing post and rail fence over a ditch which was lined with black polythene and filled with water. Results: A. 1. section.— Dressage: Charisma (S.
