Aust. to ban two activists?

PA Wellington Two Maori activists might not be allowed to enter Australia during the Brisbane Commonwealth Games this year because they had con-, | victions for illegal activities, said the Prime Minister (Mr Muldoon)- yesterday. Mr Muldoon had referred to the two people when he was interviewed by an Australian television channel several weeks ago, and he repeated yesterday that New Zealand would not withhold passports from them. The subject will be discussed when the Queensland State Premier, Mr Joh Bjelke-Petersen, talks with Mr Muldoon in Wellington in about a month. Mr Bjelke-Petersen will be in New Zealand for a celebration marking an anniversary of the Scandanavian settlement at Forty Mile Bush, in the Dannevirke area. The Queensland Premier is a descendant of the settlers.
