The appointee will be working in a multi-disciplinary team providing a social work service in Stewart Villa (the forensic psychiatric service which Includes remand assessments, treatment and preparation for rehabilitation for patients). This position provides an opportunity to bring a necessary social work component to the clinical team. The appointee would undertake individual and family casework, conduct therapeutic groups, maintain liaison with community health and social service agencies and may participate in teaching programmes for social workers and other health professionals. The Social Work Department comprises a cohesive, supportive team of colleagues. Attention is paid to the development of individual skills through in- • service training and professional supervision.
