Review of dog show on TV
Sir,—Regarding Gary Doyle’s comments on Ken Strongman’s write-up on the National Dog Show (March 4), I feel I must say that I agree with Mr Strongman. I have been showing dogs for a few years now, and everything in his review is quite true. The dogs are subject to hair-dryers, sprays, bows and clippers, etc. I am sure Mr Doyle does most of these things to his own dogs, and he should accept Mr Strongman’s comments in the manner in which they were meant.—Yours, etc., LIZ MARSHALL. March 4, 1982.
