Official opening
The grand parade and official opening of the Temuka and Geraldine A. and P. Show at Winchester tomorrow will begin at 2.30 p.m., when the Temuka Highland Pipe Band will lead the parade.
This year’s guest speaker is Baron Elworthy, of Timaru and Elworthy (England), who has retired as marshal of the Royal Air Force. Later, he was Constable and Governor of Windsor Castle, and Lord Lieutenant of Greater London. The Minister of Tourism and Publicity, and Post-master-General, Mr Talbot, who is also the show’s patron, will also be present.
