Tekapo yesterday. i Jan Whiting’ (Christchurch) won the women’s open title with clubmate Jack Gallagher taking I out the men’s event. i In the handicap section Gavin

Green of the Tekapo club, who ; was third in the open title, had a ’ good win. I The-event was held in perfect

water and weather conditions arid attracted 54 competitors from Southland to Christchurch.
