Conference for Maoris
PA Wellington The first Maori business development conference was opened by the Minister of Maori Affairs (Mr Couch) in Auckland yesterday. He said that the conference demonstrated the development of the Maori busi-
ness people within the business community, and was a “logical step forward in Maori . economic development” which would help to expand business dealings among Maoris and between them and the wider business community.
