Two rowers feel sun
PA Auckland Sun and the sea air have left the two rowers making their way round New Zealand with “skins like 80-year-olds." Both, Max Dedekind, of Christchurch, and Steven Harre, of Auckland, have felt the effects of the sun on their
skins and are "wrinkled, but toughening up.” The pair are about 80 miles out to sea from Great Exhibition Bay near the northern tip of New Zealand and hope, weather permitting, to reach Cape Reinga within two days.
