Walesa arrest reported
NZPA Stockholm Unconfirmed reports yesterday indicated that the president of the Solidarity Free Trade Union, Mr Lech Walesa, had been arrested by the, Polish Government for
refusing to negotiate with the military authorities. Solidarity’s spokesman in Sweden, Mr Stefan Trczinski, said in an interview on Swedish Radio that he had learned of Mr Walesa’s arrest from Poles who had arrived in Sweden.
