Toxic waste warning
Persons flushing toxic wastes into the Christchurch sewerage system have a price on their heads. The Clean Air Society has offered a 550 reward for information leading to their identification. The intention of the society is to “persuade not prosecute," according to the advertisement. ' The society asserts that the wastes cause problems at the Bromley treatment plant and “create excessive odours in the locality/’
