Rivers report
The North Canterbury .Acclimatisation Society reports that the Hurunui, Ashley and Seiwyn Rivers are clear and fishable.
The gorges and mouths of the Waimakariri and Rakaia Rivers are dirty, unfishable and in a fresh. The Waiau River is discoloured and unfishable.
