Yachtsman to marry

PA Auckland A member of the Ceramco New Zealand's crew. Don England, will tie a knot with a difference on December 12 when he will marry a Long Bay. Auckland, primary schoolteacher. Miss Alison Gumbley. The wedding will not be aboard the yacht, but the couple will not be far away from the water. They will be at a church named St Mary's by the Sea. Miss Gumbley, who with

her primary class has been following Ceramco's progress since the yacht left England, was keeping her fingers crossed that the vessel would arrive in New Zealand in time for the wedding. Miss Gumbley said they hoped to have two day’s honeymoon before the race restarted on Boxing Day, but when Ceramco crossed the finishing line she would be waiting, and they would tour Europe for a real honeymoon.
