The Friday afternoon Concert Programme, “The World of D. H. Lawrence,” series continues this week at 4 p.m. with “Samson and Delilah.” In the Cornwall of 1914 it is cold outside but there is a fire blazing at “The Tinners’ Rest.” A buxom woman rises from a game of cards to serve the tall, well-built stranger. They are both in the prime of life. “Stranger around here are you?” "Well — I don’t know — am I?” “Samson and Delilah” was adapted and dramatised for radio by Bill Baer and produced for Radio N.Z. by Aileen O'Sullivan.
