PA Oamaru The Government will not make a final decision on joining the Sinai peace-keep-ing force until full details of the European entry into the force have been studied. France, and the Netherlands, to join the United Stales-sponsored force.

The Government had agreed in principle to join the force in conjunction with Australia. Mr Muldoon said, and a final decision would be made “as soon as we get it tidy.” this could be before or after Saturday's election. Mr Muldoon declined to comment on reports that Arab League States had warned the European nations that their decision would jeopardise their ties with the Arab world. European decision, page 8.
