Applicants must be able to show that they have considerable experience and knowledge of the Plastics Industry, in particular in the Injection Moulding process. The successful applicant will be responsible for 25 women and an overall through put, utilising approximately 3000 skins per week. The position requires experience in supervision of people, maintaining production plans, quality and performance standards. As this unit is involved in cutting, assembling and sewing of skins, for decorative rugs and car seat covers, etc., previous knowledge in the same or similar fields, including making leather or textile articles would be an advantage. A degree of further expansion is planned, especially in export markets, for which the introduction of new designs will be required and the Manager will be expected to help design and introduce these. This is an interesting and unusual position, with an excellent commencing salary, depending on experience and evidence of previous track record. Age preferably 30-45 group.
