Book Reviews
“Busy Wheels,” by Peter Lippman, published in Picture Lion by Collins (1973). An action packed picture book, full of every imaginable vehicle on wheels. Big, colourful illustrations of fire engines, bulldozers, and racing cars are a feature of the book. “Meet Barbar and his family,” by Laurent de Brun-
hoff, published in Picture Lion by Collins (1973). An old favourite that has returned with clear print, and a different book shape, but otherwise as we remember it. Barbar is the king of the elephants, and the story introduces us to his family, and life at the palace during the four seasons.
