Entertainer committed for trial
PA ' Auckland A woman entertainer .was has been committed to the High Court for trial on drugs charges after a preliminary hearing in the District Court at Auckland. The entertainer, who was given interim suppression of name pending her trial, pleaded not : guilty to three charges of possessing Cocaine for supply on July 24 and possessing a set,of scales and a drinking straw, for the purpose of an offence against the Misuse of Drugs Act, 1975. A warrant was issued for the arrest of a man charged with the defendant on the counts of possessing cocaine for supply and possession of scales when he failed to appear on Friday.
