Niki Lauda to return
NZPA-Reuter London Niki Lauda, the former world champion who gave up Formula One grand prix motor racing two years ago to run his own airline, said yesterday he was returning to the sport. The 32-year-old Austrian said he had signed to drive
next season for the Britishbased McLaren team, in partnership with John Watson. of Northern Ireland. Lauda, who won the world championship in 1975 and 1977, did not say what fee he would receive, but it is rumoured to be more than $2 million.
