Support for buses call
The Government should help urban transport authorities to relieve ratepayers of some of the burden of supporting city bus services, said the Labour Party’s Shadow Minister of Transport, Mr F. M. Colman, after a meeting in Christchurch
Mr Colman and the Labour candidate for Fendalton, Mr D. C. Close, met the chairman and general manager of the Christchurch Transport Board yesterday to discuss Labour’s proposals for city bus services.
