P.O. denies reports
PA Wellington The Post Office has denied reports that it is planning to ■ introduce automatic teller machines into its savings banks. The Postmaster-General (Mr Cooper) said that while automatic tellers were one of the developments that the Post Office was reviewing, there was no plan to introduce them into the Post Office Savings Bank. A Post Office spokesman, Mr Kevin Rush, made a similar statement on the re- . ports. He said that while the use of new technology such as automatic tellers was “under . constant review,” there was no immediate plan to introduce such machines.
