N.Z. water polo squad
A New Zealand schoolboy water polo squad for trials in Wellington on December 5 and 6 has been named. From the trials a team to play an Australian schoolboys side in three tests at Queen Elizabeth II Park, Christchurch, on January 1 and 2 will be named. The squad, dominated by Canterbury and Wellington
players, is: L. Marshall, F. McMaster, J. Boyce, N. Ward, G. Connor, M. Potts, P. Wairau, A. Dickey, C. Scott, P. Erickson (all Canterbury); M. Grooby, S. Knights (both Auckland); L. Spooner, B. Coates, N. Watson, W. Jarman, C. McGuinness, S. Apostalakis, A. Patterson, R. Watt, S. Simpson (all Wellington); G. Laing, A. Smith (both Otago); S. Rose (Waikato); K. Pene (Wanganui).
