Finnish peace rallies
An estimated 120,000 Finns have marched in various parts of the country to demonstrate for peace and nuclear disarmament. Marches, supporting United Nations disarmament week, which ends • this week-end, were organised in more than 50 different places in Finland, a remote and sparsely populated country sharing a 1300 km border ' with the Soviet Union. Some 30,000 people marched ,in the capital, Helsinki, while crowds in smaller towns ranged up to 6000. — Helsinki. .
