The 80-tonne floating crane Rapaki lifts one of the engines from the Timaru dredge W. H. Orbell, which is berthed at No. 7 jetty at Lyttelton. The dredge, one of the biggest in the country, will be fitted with diesel engines at a cost of about $450,000 which will increase power by about 80 h.p.
