Assault after flat entered
Two men broke down the door of a flat in St Albans early yesterday morning and punched and kicked two of the occupants, before leaving with a colour television set, Christchurch C. 1.8. detectives said the two men broke into the flat in Devonport Lane at 5 a.m.
They said the men stayed in the flat about 30 minutes, assaulting the occupants and damaging the flat.
The men then left with the television set and other items, to a total value of $l3OO. -
Detectives said they had several strong leads, and hoped to make an early arrest.
