Hands Down for Kaikoura Cup
Hands Down is expected to continue his preparation towards a second New, Zealand Cup victory with a win in the Kaikoura Cup on Monday.
Hands Down will start from 25m and, now that John Tudor has been scratched, he will be the only horse handicapped behind the limit. The smallish field will suit his style of racing and the 250 m run home should enable him to use his great stamina to good effect. El Regale and Armalight will no doubt be the hardest for him to beat, but Right Bower, False Regal and D’Or Favori should also add interest to the finish.
