Chrysler loss down
The American Chrysler Corporation, the third largest American car maker, has joined its two larger rivals, Ford and General Motors, in reporting substantial losses for the third quarter of 1981. Despite losses of SUSI 49 million, Chrysler said it had made dramatic, progress in restructuring the company, in reducing costs, and improving profitability. The latest results were a sharp improvement on the losses of SUS49O million for the same quarter last year. — Detroit.
