Govt porn help
Two British pornographers have been given $2200 Government grants to help promote their blue movies at a Cannes video festival. The companies among 42 British video firms including the B B.C. and E.M.1., had their names put forward by organisers with the approval of the London Chamber of Commerce. “I could never have had this opportunity without the generous help of ' the Government,” one. of the. company directors said. Another, Martin Denning, said: “We are pioneering a niche in the market. We would like to thank the Government for supporting our export drive.” He said he told, the chamber that he was a pornographer. The Department of Trade said the. grants would be investigated, and doubted that the chamber had checked the products. — London.
