Warrant -Officer (Class D'Rex Harris succeeds Warrant officer (Class’l) Robert Blankley, who will retire from • the Army- after 30 years service;-; , AV < Sergeant-Major Harris is the third person to hold the post, which was introduced by a former Chief of the General Staff,.Major-General R. D. P. Hassett.
Sergeant-Major Harris is Regimental Sergeant-Major of New Zealand’s Singaporebased infantry regiment. He has served in Malaya, Borneo, Vietnam, and Singapore.
