Chch Gas interim

Christchurch Gas Coal and Coke Company, Ltd. will pay an interim dividend of 7 per cent, 7c a share; on the ordinary 100 c shares from revenue sources.

The unaudited profit for the half year to September 30 is $218:895 ($363,210). after estimated taxation ot $165,130 ($350,000) and an element of redundancy settlements. the directors say. The dividend will be paid November 25.
