C.B. call carries
An Australian Citizen Band radio operator received a rather snow-bound call from New Zealand yester-’ day. The call came from a couple who reported that their car was stuck in snow at the. back of Hanmer. The Australian operator
hurriedly got in touch with a Haast C.B. operator who,’in turn, got in touch with the 'police. A four-wheel-drive vehicle sent into the area. But the couple, minus their car, made their own way out and arrived safe and sound at the Hanmer police station late last evening.
