Luxury LTD
Ford Australia's top-of-the range Ford LTD limousine was a feature of the company's display at the New Zealand International Trade Fair at Auckland recently. High-specification optional equipment for the LTD limousine includes red leather seat trim, special towing equipment and a big 5800 cu cm V 8 engine.
The standard Ford LTD limousine is equipped with a 4100 cu cm high-compression six-cylinder motor with Tbar automatic transmission, four-wheel disc brakes, limited slip “diff.” power steering and electronic ignition.
The New Zealand-assem-bled Fairmont Ghia exhibited had a similar engine to the standard LTD limousine and the same transmission. Luxury features include tinted’ glass, electric windows. LED digital clock and comprehensive instrumentation. The Falcon GL sedan on display at the trade fair was also New Zealand assembled.
The standard version is powered by Ford's 3300 cu cm six-cylinder engine with four-speed manual — and Ford offers an optional GL sedan with automatic transmission. power-steering and a bigger 4100 cc six-cylinder engine.
