Parley resumes
Delegates from more than 150 countries have resumed their marathon task of drafting the first comprehensive law of the sea, designed to regulate human activities over two-thirds of the planet’s surface. Diplomats said unofficial agreement had been reached on most of the 440 articles after, more than seven years, of talks.but no final accord could be achieved before the Reagan Government completed a sweeping review of the/draft treaty.—Geneva.
