Mr Muldoon’s eloquence

Sir,—Watching Mr Muldoon speaking at the National Party Conference, I was very impressed al his eloquence as a public speaker. It seems a pity that the same eloquence was not brought into play when he addressed the Rugby Union in his special broadcast. His normal power with words would surely have persuaded the Rugby Union to call off the tour. Why the difference?— Yours, etc..
