Close smallbore contest

Close contests and high scores marked the twelfth week of the Christchurch Smallbore Rifle Association’s competitions.

Government Ladies’, which was promoted to the senior grade this season, scored a fine total of 597.47, a total which only one masters grade team, Paparua, was able to surpass. Paparua beat Richmond to draw level with it in the premier competition. Results:-
