Fine Buller recovery
PA Westport Buller, pointless in the first half, came back with a vengeance in the second half to beat West Coast, 16 12. in a national second division rugby match at Westport on Saturday. Westport's half-time 9-0 lead, ■ bulit on a foundation of goodwbrk by the pack, evaporated in a succession of mistakes by the
backs, and this gave heart to Buller. The revival was launched with a fine try by Dave Baird. Another converted try. and four points gained from a West Coast missed hit. boosted Buller's total to 16. Jon Sullivan scored a try for West Coast, and Stephen .'Boon kicked two penalties and a conversion.
