Fluoridation criticism

Criticism of the Christchurch City Council by the Minister of Health (Mr Gair) because it will not artificially fluoridate the city’s water supply, is indicative of a Minister wanting his own way and not getting it, according to Mr C. G. Marshall of the New Zealand Pure Water Association. Mr Marshall said that as the Government was not prepared to pay the entire capital and running costs of artificial fluoridation it suggested that the Government did not have complete faith in the results of the practice.
