PA Hamilton “Big people" in New Zealand were trying to stop farmers and wage and salary earners getting their heads together, the secretary of the Northern Drivers' Union, Mr G. H. Andersen, has said in Hamilton. ‘The powerful big people of this country are living in serious dread of when farmers and wage and salary earners get their feet together on common ground." Mr Andersen told about 500 people at a public forum called “Land use’— is there a better way?" He said all the big monopoly groups, including, the Government, were trying to make sure no two groups which had a bond on policygot together.
