Roads Board endorses moves on L.P.G.

PA Wellington Moves to, keep liquefied petroleum gas road tankers out of central city areas, and off roads during rush- hours have been endorsed by' the National Roads Board. The latest board meeting accepted recommendations on the movement of L.P.G. loads in big cities made by a committee comprising representatives of the Roads Board, the Fire Service Commission, and the Ministry of Transport. .; The committee has had meetings over the last year with regional fire officers in Wellington, Auckland, Hamilton, Palmerston North, Christchurch, and Dunedin. Recommendations approved by the board include:
