Man killed in collision
A man died after two cars collided in Williams Street, Kaiapoi. at 6.30 pfn. yesterday. He was. '<■ - lan Donald Sutherland, aged 29. of Kaiapoi; Nobody else was injured) in the accident.
A pedestrian who was seriously injured on Tuesday after being struck by a car in Hoon Hay .died in the intensive care unit of the Christchurch Hospital yesterday morning. He was, Norman Leslie Cox, aged 65. •of, Harling Street, Hoon Hay.
A pedestrian who was struck by a. car in Stevens Street, near ./Lancaster Park on Saturday suffered serious head, chest and internal injuries.
Mr Michael Raymond Duncan. aged about 20, was
seriously' ill in the intensive care unit, at Christchurch Hospital last evening. Another pedestrian, Mr George Henry Turner, aged 70. suffered serious head injuries when he was struck by a car at the corner of Moorhouse Avenue and Montreal Street on Friday afternoon. He was in a fair condition in The Princess Margaret Hospital yesterday.
Olwen Mary Husband, aged 62, was still in the intensive care unit in Christchurch Hospital last evening after . her car. and a truck collided at Addington last Tuesday.
A motor-cyclist was taken to hospital with moderate leg injuries shortly after midday .yesterday after his motorcycle hit a bank in Thompsons Road.
