Peninsula mini-bus service approved
Akaroa Village Resort, Ltd, has been granted a passenger service licence to run mini-bus tours of Banks Peninsula, . The tours will run from the company's new motel complex on the. former Bruce Hotel site at Akaroa. The tour service would- be the first of its kind from a motel in Akaroa/said the company’s marketing director, Dr Newell Grenfell.
• Locals and day-trippers, as well as people staying at the’ Village and other motels in the area, would be able to join the trips. The licence allows the use of one mini-bus with a maximum seating of 14 on roundtrips starling and finishing in Akaroa.. • The new resort will open, at the end of next month.
