Imports top exports by $105M
Wellington Preliminary trade figures for April show an excess of exports over imports of $lO5 million, the Government Statistician has said. Exports exceeded imports by $58.2 million in the previous year. The April, 1981, figures are: exports valued at $549.7 million (including the sale of two aircraft to the. United States, valued at $28.8 million); imports valued at $444.7 million. The corresponding figures for April, 1980, were: exports, $463.1 million; imports, $404.9m. The figures «... provisional.-
