Hovercraft service
PA . Dunedin A hovercraft and jet boat service offering fishing, scenic, picnic, and water skiing trips on Lake Waihola and the Taieri River is planned to start about September. The venture is being set up by Riverland Hovercraft,
Ltd. Mr B. Weil, manager of the company, said about $BO,OOO had already been spent on the project. The company has an eightseater Surveyor 8 hovercraft, designed and built by a Dunedin firm. It is almost completed but has yet to get a Marine Division survey.
